The Roll Neck and A-line Skirt Situation

Are you wearing a roll-neck? What about an A-line skirt? If not, then where have you been hiding? On a stylishly-challenged different planet? Its time to ditch your regular go-to safety blanket of jeans and T-shirts because that wont cut it this season. The roll-neck and A-line skirt are the new (well, not really new) stylish duo in time thatll transform your I forgot to set my alarm this morning days into something that looks like you strolled out of a Louis Vuitton advert.

This twosome arent exactly new to the style scene. Having peppered the highstreet and catwalks throughout AW14, theyve long crawled up and down the sartorial ranks (ahem, the 90s, the 70s, the 50s). But they are staying strong again, forming part of Dorothy Perkins AW15 Style Heroes. Although Trinny and Susannah banished the roll-neck for big breasted women like myself for what seemed like forever (describing it as making boobs look like some sort of deformity in the middle of your chest) Im more than happy to reclaim this design. Its practical, cosy, and if you get one that fits close to the body it shows of your curves in a bodacious way. Kim Kardashian and Marilyn Monroe do and did it, so who are T&S to say no? Thanks, but no thanks, ladies. Im going to take my fabulously curvaceous chest deformity and showcase it with a slim-fitting knitted delight.

Take your roll-neck and A-line skirt tonal like I tried (bonus points for two-tone burgundy or navy) or mix and match for colour blocked perfection.

Ill take one in every colour, thanks.
